OBJECTIVE: to analyze, from the master’s degree in art, the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the profile of teaching competencies that professionals of the School of Graduate Studies of FAHUSAC possess. METHOD: a research was developed from the constructivist paradigm, with qualitative methodology and a phenomenological design; 11 students and seven teachers from the School of Graduate Studies of FAHUSAC participated. RESULTS: in the literature consulted, the international construction of competency frameworks that have originated diverse teaching profiles was reviewed. In addition to the theoretical review, the results obtained from the questionnaires applied to the participants of the study, allowed us to propose a model of the competency framework of the teachers of the School of Graduate Studies, which has nine dimensions and 32 competencies. CONCLUSION: the informants recognize that in the teaching profile the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are visible in relation to technological competencies, the design of learning experiences and spaces and in the accompaniment of students.
