The objective of this manuscript is to describe the practice of collaborative writing supported with digital resources, within the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala (FAUSAC), with the explanation of the steps for its implementation. In the methodology followed, the participants carried out group writing of reports, essays, annotated bibliography documents, and research protocols, hosted in the Internet cloud. Data related to the experiences of the participants were collected through semi-structured interviews with non-probabilistic samples of between 7 and 20 people. The results show that the participants consider that the digital resource used for collaborative writing practice is novel and facilitates collective work. Although both teachers and students express difficulties in planning, organizing, and working in
equipment. The data were processed using the content analysis technique through the QDA Miner Lite software. It was concluded that, in general, the participants declared the collaborative writing experience as satisfactory. However, it is necessary to strengthen some skills in aspects such as: Preparation of group grading rubrics, management of software for collective writing, management of bibliographic sources, planning and organization of teamwork, mainly.
